I can’t wait until the weather is just right to make all these Fall cocktails! It has been 90 degrees here lately and I am totally over it. I’m hoping this year we actually get a Fall. Here in Ohio, it isn’t unusual to go to bed when it’s 70 and wake up the next morning to 40-degree weather. It’s not unheard of to be wearing shorts one day and a winter coat the next…geesh! Gotta love the Midwest!
Fall is absolutely my favorite time of the year. Pumpkin carving, apple picking (my personal favorite), bonfires, hayrides, Fall festivals…I can’t get enough! I have my hoodie & my fire-pit ready to enjoy. And while I’m enjoying a nice warm fire, I can enjoy one (or more!) of these delicious cocktails. I might not even wait 🙂
Well I was patiently waiting for Thanksgiving but thanks to Elaina and this totally awesome Sangria recipe, I am now impatiently waiting. Since I’m going apple picking this coming Saturday, I might just have to make a batch a lot sooner.
I’m fighting a cold right now and I think I just found what’s going to make my throat feel better…Kathy’s yummy Hot Toddy! When I was a bartender and would start to feel sick, I used to pour a little cinnamon schnapps in my hot tea. I wish I would have had this recipe then.
Looks like I’ll be picking up enough apple cider this weekend to make this punch. These fall cocktails with all these yummy fruits and liquors are so beautiful to look at, and Stephanie’s bourbon punch recipe is no exception.
Although Alix & Hugo’s Blackcurrant Apple Cider Cocktail recipe would be great for Spring, I think it’s perfect for Fall, too. This sweet treat is so simple to make, I’m definitely looking forward to making this one.
Autumn Punch (left) & Spiked Pumpkin Latte (right) – Anns Entitled Life
My mouth is already watering just looking at Ann’s recipes for these two fall cocktails. Her Autumn Punch recipe gives me just one more thing to do with all those apples. The Spiked Pumpkin Latte is made with butterscotch schnapps, soooo yummy!
A make-ahead whiskey cocktail Pam’s recipe is bound to please your all holiday guests!
Julie’s recipe is so simple and includes ingredients that might be readily available in your house already. Yum!
Apple Cider Honey Jack Martini (left) & Warm Cranberry Apple Hard Cider (right) – Taste and See
Holly shows us another way to spice up, or should I say, spike up apple cider with her Apple Cider Honey Jack Martini. Also, with a beautifully sugar rimmed glass! And If the man (or woman) in your life is a hunter, well, this Warm Cranberry Apple Hard Cider recipe would be perfect to send along with him. To drink after he puts his gun or bow away, of course.
Are you ready for some football!?!? Well, this recipe from Kim is great for sharing at your bowl game parties!
Mulled Gin Cocktail with Mulled Wine Ice Cubes (left) & Bailey’s Pumpkin Spice Latte (right) – Veggie Desserts
Kate’s Mulled Gin Cocktail shows us how we should be making our ice cubes! Yes, I’m doing that today! And I’m always looking for something to add Bailey’s to!
